At Diction HQ, our mission is to serve the community in three ways:
• through language and accent coaching, helping you communicate with clarity and confidence,
• through professional notary services, ensuring your important documents are signed, verified, and handled with care, and
• through meaningful, relaxed, and joyful wedding ceremonies that see and honor the couple.

Language
At Diction HQ, we started with a simple idea: to make English learning engaging and rewarding for everyone. We believe clear communication is an important part of your social and work life. That's why we offer high-quality and proven educational services to students of all ages and backgrounds.
Diction HQ was founded by Melanie Stevenson Bacchus, a language teacher with over 30 years of experience. She is passionate about helping others learn and improve in their new language. She herself loves to learn new languages, and speaks English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. She is also learning Mandarin and Thai.
Notary
As a lifelong learner, Melanie became fascinated by notary services when her spouse needed an acknowledgement and Apostille for some business documents. So, she took notary public and loan signing agent courses, and passed the exam. She took her oath of office in beautiful San Diego County.

Melanie became a wedding officiant because love should be celebrated with absolute joy! With humor, flexibility, and a listening ear, she holds space for your commitment and helps you celebrate a unique moment you’ll always remember.
